This is a national practice, and we offer flexible work hours and locations: in office/hybrid.
Duties : Plan, supervise staff, and execute Risk Assurance and IT Advisory/Audits engagements. Manage projects to ensure high quality delivery through performing quality assurance, staffing, deadlines, budgets, and invoicing throughout the project lifecycle. Manage and mentor other professionals, including attracting and retaining qualified professionals. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and identify new opportunities for business. Collaborate and work cross functionally throughout the various lines of business to increase skillsets and promote a one-team culture. Participate in innovation sessions and tactical initiatives related to new product offerings and services. Responsible for leading and conducting service offerings including IT Audits. Perform in conjunction with Financial Statement and ICFR Audits. Demonstrate effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities and simultaneous projects. Recognize, communicate, research, and participate in resolution of engagement issues and challenges. Present and communicate status and issues to client senior management personnel. Develop and maintain expertise in technical and industry areas.
Requirements : Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems or related field of study, and 5 years of experience in Information Technology audit, corporate Information Technology Audit, or technology risk consulting in a professional services firm or a consulting practice. Experience specified must include 5 years of experience with each of the following: performing IT General Controls and application control testing in accordance with industry recognized control frameworks such as COBIT, SOX, NIST, COSO and/or ISO; preparing audit working papers summarizing the evidentiary data obtained, sampling justification, and the conclusions reached; auditing or advising clients on at least three of the following domains: Information security administration; Information privacy; Physical and logical security; System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and change control; Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP); and Production scheduling and monitoring; working in a team environment conducting information technology assurance or audit engagements; and leading multiple projects and groups. Requires CISA certification. Telecommuting permitted. Must live within normal commuting distance of Mazars USA LLP's office in New York, NY. Requires up to 20% domestic travel.
