This is a hybrid role - 2 days remote and 3 days in the Malvern, PA office.
The Manager, Human Resources Business Partner provides leadership and direction to business leaders and teammates concerning human resources activities and initiatives. This role is an instrumental advisor and resource on the subject of talent management including teammate relations, performance management, compensation, engagement, career development, and management capability building. The Manager, Human Resources will lead the HR Business Partnership team to engage leaders in innovative ways to bring out the best in their teams to attract, develop, and retain talent. This role partners with business leaders and teammates to optimize our teammates’ experience and provide leadership in shaping an inclusive culture, driving collaboration, and building partnerships. This role has a high degree of collaboration across the organization, including the broader HR department team members and Legal team.

Responsibilities:Responsibilities include:
HR Business Partnership
- Ensures teammate relations efforts are aligned with the company’s culture of genuine care, while also ensuring policies and practices comply with laws, regulations, and guidelines and mitigate risk
- Serves as a coach and trusted advisor to business leaders on all aspects of talent management including career development, performance management, engagement, compensation, and teammate relations
- Engage with the HR Business Partnership team to develop and deliver programs and implement processes which support the company’s growth, engage teammates, and develop talent.
- Coaches/counsels leaders and teammates as needed
- Serves as a champion for teammate development and as a role model and ambassador for the company’s culture of genuine care and unparalleled customer service
Management and People Leadership
- Positions the HR Business Partnership team as an integral, strategic partner for internal customers by setting a clear vision, establishing priorities which support business and customer needs, clarifying roles, and measuring/monitoring success
- Leads a team of HR professionals by setting performance direction, motivating, coaching, developing, recognizing, and ensuring accountability for results
- Provides leadership to the HR Business Partnership team to develop and deliver programs and implement processes which support the company’s growth, engage teammates, and develop talent
- Drives process improvement, accountabilities, and operational and organizational efficiencies across the HR Business Partnership team
Education and Experience
Minimum Required Qualifications (including Programs/systems experience)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10 years human resources experience of which a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a human resources business partner who resolved complex HR issues (including teammate relations and investigations)
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
- Demonstrated competence in all HR generalist functions, including employee relations, recruiting, development, and compensation
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal/state employment laws and a solid understanding of general HR practices, laws, and regulations
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to seek out underlying assumptions through probing, questioning, and listening
- Sound business acumen (financial, strategy, markets, competition) and the ability to establish credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels within an organization
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, including ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate
- Ability to resolve conflicts and coach managers and teammates, and work in a team-based environment
- Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving, facilitation, negotiation, and change management skills
- Ability to communicate a clear and compelling vision, verbally and in writing, of the path for success that provides clarity of intentions and expectations, generates energy, and inspires teams to meet challenges
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as experience working with HRIS systems
- Proficiency in understanding and applying employment laws and regulations
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Human Resource certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
- Experience in large (1000+) company
