Manager - Histology Tech - Pride Health

Pride Health is seeking a Manager - Histology Tech to join our client's team in Greensboro, NC. This position is ideal for an experienced leader with a strong background in high-complexity pathology labs.

Job Description:

This Manager - Histology Tech role requires a leader with 5+ years of experience in high-complexity pathology labs and 2+ years in a leadership position. You will oversee and manage the pathology laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality control, hazardous material handling, specimen receipt, and reporting test results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee specimen collection, receipt, and test result reporting
• Ensure proper hazardous material disposal, labeling, and compliance with MSDS and QA controls
• Provide leadership and guidance to lab staff
• Manage cytology processes, decedent services, and morgue functions
• Operate and maintain
• Supervise lab procedures and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

• Required:
• ASCP-HT certification
• 5+ years of high-complexity pathology laboratory experience
• 2+ years in a leadership (management) role
• Hospital clinical lab experience

Additional Information:

• Location: Greensboro, NC 27401
• Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), Monday - Friday/ 40 hours/week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $60 - $62/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
