Financial Reporting Manager
Our client, a prominent organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a motivated Financial Reporting Manager to enhance their Finance function and support exemplary financial performance. This role is based in Dublin, requiring in-office attendance three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while collaborating closely with various departments to maintain financial transparency and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the quarterly and annual external reporting process, including the preparation of SEC filings such as 10-Qs and 10-Ks, ensuring compliance with regulations and accounting principles.
- Conduct technical accounting research and document conclusions, staying updated on U.S. GAAP accounting standards and their impact on the Company’s financial statements.
- Coordinate the earnings release process and manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Assist in the preparation and review of the Company’s ESG reporting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is required.
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within a Big 4 accounting firm or retail company.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX internal controls.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $150K - $190K per year.
