Manager Financial Reporting - TBG | The Bachrach Group Las Vegas

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting and ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Draft and review technical accounting memorandums for complex transactions.
• Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting to ensure SOX compliance.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the financial reporting team.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and SEC reporting requirements to ensure best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree preferred).
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Proven experience in writing technical accounting memorandums and SEC financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
