POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for all aspects of construction, modernization and service and all aspects of field operations for the Elevator/Escalator Division out of the DC Branch.
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage construction, modernization and service field operations for DC Branch.
- Meet business plan goals and objectives while following MEUS/EED quality and safety guidelines.
- Implement and supervise initiatives that results in labor and office efficiency.
- Coordinate and supervise training that results in labor and office efficiency.
- Implement product improvement for existing as well as new products.
- Oversee all field related activities.
- Manage and monitor labor hours and provide timely directives to ensure targets, goals and objectives are met.
- Oversee and coordinate training of all branch installation field staff.
- Oversee and coordinate training of all branch service field staff.
- Direct field operations in such a way to ensure customer satisfaction and service customer retention per company objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prepare installation reports and training manuals as required.
- Seek improvement upon existing methods and means of branch operations.
- Utilize Total Service, Salesforce and other company specific computer tools.
- Maintain strong rapport with local industry professionals.
- Perform water damage reports and lead the timely submission of replacement costs for parts and labor.
- Supervise activities of all related branch project management staff.
- Oversee all project management-related activities.
- Manage all financial activities of branch operations A/R, A/P, labor hours and cash flow and provide timely directives to ensure targets, goals and objectives are met.
- Oversee and coordinate training of all branch modernization field staff.
- Develop and maintain successful relationship with the local IUEC business agent.
- Assist sales (service, modernization, construction) as needed to successfully meet business plan objectives.
- Assist with “on-call” service after hours to address urgent matters with regards to service calls and customer handling of down units and status of repairs.
- Direct and oversee all modernization surveys for branch and be responsible for assisting project manager in timely release of material to meet project schedules.
- Performs other job functions as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 15+ years of industry related experience.
- 10+ years of industry field experience.
- 10+ years of managerial and/or supervisory experience.
- Construction Management experience.
- Service Management experience.
- Minimum OSHA 30
- Operations experience preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Project Management courses or experience preferred but not required.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $140,000 and $192,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions based on achieving individual performance and/or sales metrics, incentive compensation and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these additional compensation and benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
