MAXIMUS is seeking a Manager, Federal Sales Enablement and Operations. The Federal Services segment's Sales Enablement and Operations Team ensures the Federal Growth & Strategy Team seamlessly adopts and optimally utilizes sales systems, tools, and resources, driving consistent and predictable growth. Reporting to the Senior Director, the Sales Enablement and Operations Manager supports all aspects of the sales organization. This role involves managing sales operations, providing Salesforce administration, and directing sales-related project initiatives, leveraging extensive knowledge of Maximus' Federal Services segment's sales methodologies and lifecycle processes. This is a remote position, preferably in the DMV area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accommodate business development growth and strategic direction, remaining current (including managing the inventory of materials).
- Ensure alignment of sales guidance, approaches, training, and best practices.
- Ensure all content is optimized, consistent, and easily accessible, streamlining and improving the entire sales lifecycle process.
- Create and update content and data, working with stakeholders to address critical priorities identified by senior sales and business unit leadership.
- Function as a liaison between the sales team, marketing, operations, and corporate support teams.
- Coordinate with the sales team and business unit operation teams to drive scale and repeatability across the opportunity pipeline.
- Maintain and update templates and resources to enable the sales processes and guidance.
- Equip the sales team with training and guidance.
- Support effective onboarding processes for new sales team members so they can be successful in their new roles as quickly as possible.
- Coordinate all sales training programs and educational content for the sales team, from foundational training to continuous learning, as well as developing other course programs that benefit the sales team. These courses are included online via LMS and instructor led.
- Plan and coordinate training and conduct post-training communications.
- Manage Federal Services BD team site, the hub of the sales enablement system.
- Support the content map that organizes the content for ease of creation and retrieval of documents.
- Assist and organize content and data, access and sharing abilities, tracking analytics, and enhance sales performance.
- Ensure the overall sales enablement efforts positively impact sales performance and productivity.
- Track and analyze all training, content, and courseware usage.
- Manage and maintain the Federal Salesforce apps, including user licenses, setup, and case management system.
- Provide Salesforce training and support to users, covering best practices for data entry, opportunity management, and other sales activities.
- Implement and communicate changes within Salesforce, including new features, updates, and enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity through data quality checks, cleansing, and deduplication.
- Create and maintain data governance policies and procedures (e.g., Salesforce User Guide, Standard Operating Procedures, Change Board policies, Configuration Management).
- Support the Growth & Strategy Team in tracking performance goals, forecasting, and resource utilization across various levels (individual, agency, account, market, line of business, major accounts, federal segment).
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide visibility into sales performance, pipeline metrics, and key performance indicators, including custom reports as needed.
- Assist in preparing briefing materials for Federal reviews, Corporate BD quarterly reviews, Board of Directors meetings, and other ad hoc meetings.
- Collaborate with Sales Market leadership and other stakeholders to optimize sales processes within Salesforce, including lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, and productivity.
- Schedule and facilitate gate/business review committee meetings, capturing actions and decisions for follow-up and documenting them in Salesforce.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- 5-7 years of related professional experience.
- Proficient knowledge of sales, capture, and proposal operations, along with sales processes and best practices.
- Proficient in MS O365 and Salesforce.
- Ability to demonstrate sales operational rigor and project management experience.
- Must have strong communication, organizational, and people skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in fast-paced, multiple-project, and high-growth environments.
- Self-starter, willing to roll up their sleeves and do what is needed to equip the organization to succeed with MFS growth goals.
- Experience managing projects from inception through completion.
- Must be adaptable, flexible, forward-thinking, and passionate about excellence and producing high-quality products.
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting milestones and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration and 5 years related experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proven work experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Minimum of 2-3 years management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Proficient Salesforce CRM Tool experience.
- Fundamental understanding of Federal government contracting procurement lifecycle process.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
