Duties: Role
The Manager, Event Technology will be responsible for building and delivering the overall attendee experience for our live event technologies. Specific tasks include event registration, Marketo integrations, analytics, email management, downstream reporting, onsite check-in, and mobile. In this role you will be working with many internal stakeholders to help deliver programs at events. You’ll also be working with key vendors and agencies to help craft the best in-person experiences at ServiceNow events.

Get hands on with SMEs to coordinate building out aspects of our Event Management System and plan for onsite event execution.
Present to key executives and managers within ServiceNow marketing
Manage complex projects through the software development life cycle
Potential to travel to the world’s best cities to help deliver our events.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
3+ years in enterprise events management, preferably on technology side
Strong familiarity with event registration technology, including various registration paths, attendee types, discount codes, hotel management, and downstream reporting.
Familiar with key platforms used in events marketing technology, including their integration methods. This role will maintain existing technologies and assist in integrating new technology and processes into our existing MarTech stack.
Experience with Marketo, Tableau, Power BI and Snowflake highly desirable.
Comfortable working with APIs.
Proven ability to manage high complexity projects in a fast-paced, agile environment, often times balancing many projects and timelines at once
A background administering SaaS events tools like RainFocus, Cvent, or Swoogo – specific skills that would set this candidate up for success include:
Strong architectural understanding of how the various components of an events SaaS tool interact with one another.
Familiarity with back-end dashboards and reporting
Experience with onsite technology such as badge printing, session scanning, lead retrieval, and mobile
Comfortable with web markup, including HTML and CSS.
Experience working within events at enterprise software companies is a plus
Self-starter with a highly proactive approach to their work
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Experience leading and organizing small teams is a plus
Strong attention to detail
A fantastic attitude and ability to manage the high speed world of events
