Manager, Enterprise Business Systems
About the Role:
We are looking for an Enterprise Systems Manager to take ownership of our core business applications, including SAP, Salesforce, and other critical tools. This role will drive the roadmap for these systems, ensuring they scale and perform to meet business needs. You’ll play a key role in decision-making, balancing day-to-day support, triaging helpdesk tickets, and leading projects, all while optimizing resource utilization across onshore and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the administration and enhancement of SAP, with a focus on improving inventory management, order-to-cash workflows, production planning, and systems integrations, including financial processes.
Manage the development, customization, and integration of Salesforce, working closely with teams across the organization to ensure the system effectively supports revenue operations.
Facilitate and lead Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to evaluate, prioritize, and approve system changes, ensuring alignment with business goals and minimizing disruption.
Partner with stakeholders in Sales, Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, and Warehouse to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement system improvements that enhance performance and efficiency.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of system administrators and offshore resources, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Develop and maintain system roadmaps, ensuring that business applications evolve in line with the company’s strategic goals and scaling needs.
Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing risks, improving security, and ensuring uptime and reliability.
Drive projects for new system implementations, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring they are well-planned, delivered on schedule, and effectively adopted by the business.
Report regularly to leadership on system performance, team progress, and key initiatives, providing clear visibility into priorities and outcomes.
Qualification
Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, or similar platforms, with a proven ability to balance day-to-day support and project delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP or Salesforce are a plus.
Experience facilitating Change Control Board (CCB) meetings or managing formal change management processes for enterprise systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including managing onshore and offshore resources, while ensuring optimal team performance and resource utilization.
Hands-on experience in ticket management systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) with a track record of triaging, prioritizing, and resolving technical requests efficiently.
Strong technical expertise in enterprise system workflows, configurations, and integrations, with an emphasis on SAP and Salesforce.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive mindset for improving systems and processes.
