Responsibilities:About the Manager- Enabling Training:
The Manager, Enabling Training is responsible for taking the lead in assessing training opportunities within the Global Corporate Enabling functions. Within this role, the manager will consult with business leaders to understand areas of strength and opportunity to advance employee training efforts. They will provide consultation on internal and external development and training opportunities and collaborate with business leaders in assisting with developing localized training plans to support people and systems and to meet specific business needs. As a Training Manager, this individual will take the lead to help ensure quality training through course design, delivery and evaluation, training resource materials and learning reinforcement.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with Enabling business leaders to develop training curriculums that support employees with in-role skill development, new systems, and new technologies
- Consult with business leaders and HRBPs to identify current and future training needs
- Identify and monitor training needs in the Enabling departments; consult with business leaders on developing plans to close training gaps
- Assess most effective training solutions and approaches for identified opportunities, leveraging internal resources or external partnerships/vendors appropriately to develop and deliver training
- Meet with business leaders on a regular basis to identify effectiveness of current training solutions and approaches, discuss additional areas of need, and
- Assist in the design, plan and implementation of training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill identified training needs
- Review existing training programs and approaches; suggest enhancements or modifications as necessary to improve learner engagement, retention, and/or meet the changing needs of the organization
- Assess effectiveness of training solutions through proficiency demonstrations, metrics and feedback to ensure solutions and approaches meet business needs and improve performance
- Identify measurement opportunities to determine training impacts; provide feedback to business leaders on results, enhancements, and learner engagement
What makes a dream candidate?
- Experience analyzing company needs, lesson planning, development and implementation of training solutions
- Advanced knowledge of communications principles and practices
- Working knowledge of adult learning philosophies
- Working knowledge of training delivery channels, included but not limited to: SuccessFactors, SharePoint, e-Learning and various self-study approaches
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in training disciplines
- Strong ability to develop training content for both instructor-led and virtual classes
- Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers
- Ability to understand business priorities and culture to present compelling business cases for training initiatives
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects at once
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data; inno
- Advanced Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project Management skills
- Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization, including senior management
Experience
- 5+ years Experience in training, talent development, or organizational development required
- 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience required
- 5+ years Experience in facilitation required
- Bachelor’s Degree Organizational Development, Training and Development, Human Resources, Education, or related field required
