The selected candidate for this position will report to the Remote Sensing Programs Engineering Organization within the Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) Division in Rolling Meadows, IL.This is a dual role position, involving direct management of a talented team of high performing digital (FPGA & ASIC) engineers as well as project engineering leadership for technically advanced development programs to produce cutting edge designs and algorithms. The Manager Digital Engineering will require tasking and coordination of up to 10 engineers, and process and resource coordination with functional homeroom management.
The position will also have 80% of his/her time allocated to technical responsibilities.
This candidate will demonstrate a broad skill set that is balanced between interpersonal, leadership, and technical capabilities.
He/she must be a self-starter, able to efficiently operate in a team environment, and collaborate across the sector business areas as required to accomplish the team goals.

Demonstrated leadership experienceProficiency with design of Programmable Logic Devices (FPGA, ASICs, CPLDs)Experience with electronics lifecycle such as: specifications, architecture, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance.Ability to work independently and within a team environmentExperience with electronics integrationProven communication and presentation skillsExperience with version control and collaboration toolsU.S.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
