Job Description:
Leadership & Strategy:
Strategic Planning:
- Ability to define and implement data engineering strategies that align with business delivery goals such as test data provisioning, regulatory compliance, and automation enablement.
Team Leadership:
- Experience in managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, including data engineers, automation engineers, and other stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management:
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business teams, understand requirements, and present data engineering solutions effectively.
Technical Expertise:
Test Data Management (TDM):
- Advanced knowledge of TDM frameworks, tools, and processes.
- Experience in evaluating and onboarding tools like GenRocket, Synthesized or Informatica TDM or IBM OPTIM .
Synthetic Data & Data Privacy:
- Deep understanding of synthetic data generation, data masking, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
Cloud & Automation:
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating TDM into CI/CD pipelines for automation enablement.
Data Versioning:
- Expertise in implementing data versioning strategies to ensure rollback capabilities and testing reproducibility.
Innovation and Enablement:
Innovation Focus:
- Ability to introduce innovative solutions for TDM challenges, such as self-service test data provisioning and streamlined data refreshes.
Integration with Automation:
- Experience in integrating TDM workflows with automation suites, ensuring on-demand and reusable data availability.
KPI and Success Metrics:
- Strong skills in defining and tracking KPIs to measure the success of TDM implementations (e.g., test coverage, data provisioning time, compliance adherence).
Compliance and Governance:
Regulatory Compliance:
Deep understanding of regulatory standards and ability to ensure that all test data management and engineering processes adhere to legal and organizational policies.
Data Governance:
- Experience in establishing data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and accessibility.
Tools and Technologies:
TDM Tools:
Expertise in tools like GenRocket, Synthesized, Informatica TDM or IBM OPTIM.
Programming Skills:
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and Java for leading teams in technical implementations.
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Proficiency in tools for monitoring TDM workflows and generating success metrics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Must Haves:
- Test Data Management (TDM) - Synthetic Data & Data Privacy, Expertise in tools like GenRocket
- Programming Skills - Python, SQL, and Java
- Cloud & Automation

- A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $130,000 - $140,000.
