Summary
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Credit and Collections Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in assessing customer creditworthiness, managing the onboarding process, and leading a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists. You'll collaborate closely with various departments to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer interactions while meeting company goals. Reporting directly to senior management, your insights and leadership will drive success in our financial processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Credit Management:
- Set customer credit limits in accordance with company policies, analyzing financial data and credit reports.
- Provide support for external financing transactions and ensure compliance with purchase orders and billing processes.
- Maintain and refine credit and collections procedures to meet internal and external audit standards.
Collections Management:
- Oversee end-to-end collections process, working collaboratively with multiple teams.
- Review collection reports and communicate effectively to resolve outstanding balances and payment issues.
- Foster positive customer relationships while implementing effective collection strategies.
General Responsibilities:

- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards in all interactions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of collections specialists, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial credit and collections, accounting, and management.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivation and teamwork.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to sit, stand, or move about occasionally, and lift objects up to 10 pounds.
Salary Range: $70,500 - $91,500
