- Position Summary
- The overall purpose and function of this position is to, under minimal supervision, manage assigned responsibilities regarding borrowings, derivative, financial management, budgeting, and analysis. Manages borrowings, monitors ratios, and ensures compliance with bond and loan agreement covenants. Participates in the Strategic Financial Planning process. Prepares budgets and variance reports, scrutinizes financial documents and reports, and performs financial analysis. This position will also lead special projects and assignments of organizational significance as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Knowledge of accounting, finance, and borrowing principles normally acquired through completion of a degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.MBA or CPA preferred.
- License/Certifications: See "Education"
- Experience: Seven to ten years of experience in investment banking or financial management required. Experience in health care environment preferred.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with high level internal and external personnel in multiple disciplines on a variety of complicated issues.
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of financial management.
- Working knowledge of personal computers as well as information systems capabilities, procedures, and practices.
- Analytical skills to collect pertinent information necessary to analyze complex problems, formulate sound solutions, and implement those solutions.
