Manager, Consumer Products - Retail & Marketing - Major League Soccer

Major League Soccer is looking for a motivated and experienced Manager, Consumer Products (Retail & Marketing) to join our team in New York, NY. As the Manager, Retail & Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing retail programs with MLS Clubs and key partners. This highly integrated role will work with MLS Clubs to understand and aid in the amplification of Club-led initiatives involving opportunities to incorporate consumer products to drive messaging, fan engagement and revenue. Club Client Services

• Partner with MLS Clubs to support merchandise programs and grow sales across all Club channels.
• Act as the day-to-day contact for clubs, ensuring cohesive product and marketing messages across digital and in-stadium platforms.
• Deliver product and licensee updates to assist Clubs in merchandising assortment both online and in-stadium.
• Create omni-channel retail strategy for the best fan experience
• Coordinate local promotional calendars for Clubs and participate in monthly omni-channel calls.

Asset Management

• Manage MLSstore.com creative submissions and approve final creative.
• Responsible for maintaining website product imagery and providing assets to retail partners and internal team members.

Marketing Integration

• Collaborate with different departments within the MLS organization to act as a liaison for Consumer Products, ensuring seamless integration.
• Maintain work process flow and coordinate information with related departments.
• Create and maintain content calendar and schedule deadlines for deliverables.
• Plan and coordinate consumer products documentation as needed.
• End-to-end management of marketing and product launches

5+ years of work experience in consumer products marketing, operations, or retail.

• Strong written and presentation skills for clear communication.

• Ability to travel (10-20%) and work occasional non-traditional hours.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Total Rewards:

Major League Soccer offers a competitive starting base salary of $75,000 - $85,000, based on individual qualifications, market financials, and operational business needs.
