Job Summary:
The Manager, Community Marketing provides leadership and direction to Community Marketing Representatives to ensure the goals of the department are successfully achieved.
Essential Functions:
- Assure proper use of any supporting technology including SAF, iPhone and any future use of CRM
- Responsible for consistent execution and adherence of all departmental policies, processes and procedures
- Research and document competitive knowledge
- Develop and lead critical community relationships integral to enrollment and outreach success
- Collaborate with internal Strategic Marketing departments to gain support needed to assure successful execution of marketing plans
- Collaborate with Provider Relations to assure targeted network growth goals are met
- Design, implement and execute all strategy development and enrollment forecasting in collaboration with Director, Community Marketing
- Perform any other job related instructions as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience is required
- Minimum five to eight (5 to 8) years of years Medicaid sales management experience in a grassroots lead generation environment including experience with rigorous management of prospect pipelines is required
- Experience in consultative selling in complex decision making processes is required
- Understanding of sales representative adoption of CRM is required
- Thorough understanding of reporting to run an activity-based business in B-C environment is required
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Familiarity of the healthcare field and knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
- Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Project management and technical writing skills
Licensure and Certification:
- Current, unrestricted State Insurance Licenses in Accident and Health within state(s) of assigned territory is/are required or ability to achieve license(s) within 30 days of hire
- Applicable certification as required within state(s) of assigned territory or ability to achieve certification(s) within 30 days of hire and annual recertification each year thereafter is required. If a Federally-Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) state, certification from the Health Insurance Marketplace is required.
- Employment in this position is conditional pending successful clearance of a driver’s license record check. If the driver’s license record results are unacceptable, the offer will be withdrawn or, if you have started employment in the position, your employment in this position will be terminated
- To help protect our employees, members, and the communities we serve from acquiring communicable diseases, Influenza vaccination is a requirement of this position. CareSource requires annual proof of Influenza vaccination for designated positions during Influenza season (October 1 – March 31) as a condition of continued employment. Employees hired during Influenza season will have thirty (30) days from their hire date to complete the required vaccination and have record of immunization verified.

Compensation Range:
$79,800.00 - $127,600.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
