MANAGER BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The BC & Ops Resiliency Remediation Lead will help develop a plan and lead the execution of activities designed to improve the overall end to end BC and Ops Res lifecycle and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The role will be responsible for the review of process deficiencies, identification of cause, development of remediation strategies and implementation execution. The lead will partner across business and technology organizations to resolve gaps, while creating large-scale, sustainable solutions. The Remediation Lead must be able to access and interpret data to produce reporting for management and regulators as required and will be asked to face off against internal & external audit or regulatory agencies.
What you will do
- Develop & maintain project tracking including status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Review current state processes; recommend enhancements, modernization and/or automation solutions
- Partner with compliance, business and technology teams to execute on remediation plans
- Become the subject matter expert, experienced in recovery capability analysis and regulatory requirement compliance
- Drive process design and improvement activities
- Partner with 2 & 3LOD to ensure adherence to applicable policies and standards
- Supervise, develop, train and support resources. Provide development, coaching and performance feedback
- Motivate program resources and create/foster a collaborative environment
- Develop and deliver materials to address regulator concerns & expectations
- Work with GRC program manager to define tracking metrics and status reporting
- Proactively troubleshoot for the best solution given the strategic direction of the organization.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of Crisis Management experience
- Minimum 3 years of financial services experience
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent process management and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
- Prior banking/finance experience and in-depth knowledge of Business Continuity & Operational Resiliency practices
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively will all levels of management
- Strong knowledge of financial industry / banking regulatory and best industry practices including, but not limited to FFIEC, OCC, FRB, FDIC
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to drive high priority and visible projects where business problems are complex or unique
- Independently evaluates business needs and requirements and recommends and implements solutions
- Exercises judgment requiring more in-depth knowledge
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Compensation
Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
