Your Next Career Opportunity – Manager, Asset Optimization - International
Review title and survey, draft and review language for various real estate transaction documents, collaborate with the team, Asset Optimization department, and other departments to close files, and ensure post-closing matters are completed. Manage a team of Real Estate Administrators, including reviewing their work, providing training, reviewing and approving time sheets, completing performance reviews, resolving issues, and overseeing production.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Preparation of documents necessary for completing a variety of real estate transactions.
- Analyzing and resolving a breadth of legal issues.
- Review of ground leases, tenant leases, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, requests for proposals, and closing documents.
- Coordinate and oversee real estate closings with external parties and internal teams.
- Collaborate with Compliance in review of title commitments, title policies, surveys, and other due diligence items.
- Work with third party vendors to resolve issues necessary for the team to close transactions.
- Correspond with various ground owners, vendors, and outside counsel.
- Prepare letters, memoranda, and reports.
- Review and maintain Excel trackers, reports, checklists, processes, and other lists.
- Update and maintain insert language, forms, and templates.
- Review the work of Real Estate Administrators and provide feedback.
- Review and approve time sheets of Real Estate Administrators.
- Complete performance reviews of Real Estate Administrators.
- Responsible for the quality and efficiency of the team’s work product.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.
- Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
- Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
- Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision and values.
- Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
- Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
Associate's Degree Bachelor’s degree preferred;
and 5+ years experience as a real estate paralegal required; previous senior-level experience on a team strongly preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish required
Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
