WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Manager, ApplicationEngineeringis responsible formanaging a team of brilliant Application Engineers to build the award-winning productsfor the Patient Financial Care platform.This position will beleading a team which is responsible forarchitecting,developingand testingof full stack applications and data pipelines.OurManagersare willing to jump in and roll their sleeves upin order toget the job done and are certainly highly technical.
Personnel Management:
Manages all day-to-day activities of theapplication development team.Provide effective team management,leadershipand mentoring.
Establishes training offerings, suited for individuals’ needs, for them toprogress
Conducts People Operations responsibilities for all assigned team members, including goal setting & performance evaluations.
Motivates and provides guidance to team members toaccomplishteam goals through counseling, performance reviews, mentoring, and team buildingactivities
Serves as the player-coach within the team, helping them develop into more seasonedprofessionals
Technical Leadership:
Champions agile development processes within the team,leadsagile development rituals.
Schedules projects and resources, and monitors projecttimelines; accountablefor the success or failure of all team projects
Effectively communicates team and project updates to internal and external stakeholders.Proactivelyidentifiesproject risks and takes steps to mitigate risks.
Works with Product management and other functional areastoidentifypriorities for Application Development and enhancements;acquires resources for projects to fit the current and future needs of the Business
Helps other Technology Managers set and implement policies and procedures related to application quality, standards, andtesting
Architects and writesdetailed requirements for engineering led initiatives.
Documents current and future project workflows using tools such as wikis, flowchartsand matrices.
Plays an integral part in establishing, driving, and enhancing processes and procedures within the team, and within the Technology department as awhole

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
3+yearsexperienceleading a software developmentteam
5+ yearsprogramming experience(c#, java, c, go,javascript, python,php)
Experience with Relational Databases (mysql,postgres,sqlserver)
Experience with cloud technologies (aws,gcloud, azure)
Experience with Version Control (git)
Experience with Unit and Integration Testing Methodologies
Experience buildinghighly-scalablesoftware solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & welcomechange
Highly self-motivated
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Java, JavaScript, PHPand Go
Experience with flat file data processing (parsing, validation, normalization)
Experience with cloud-based data tools (Airflow, Athena/S3, Glue,etc)
Experience with data analytics tools (snowflake,PowerBI)
Experience in Healthcare or Fintechindustry
