About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Manager Actuarial Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will:
- Lead the assessment of Medicaid capitation rate assumptions and methodology.
- Provide oversight for financial/encounter data submission to support Medicaid capitation rate setting.
- Offer expertise and consultation to enhance the Medicare bid process and pricing strategy.
- Evaluate the financial performance of Medicaid/Medicare lines of business.
- Stay abreast of evolving healthcare trends and actuarial regulations, ensuring organizational compliance.
- Maintain current knowledge of government regulations, analytic techniques, and methodologies, as well as data sources.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with leaders across various departments including Product, Finance, Regulatory, Pharmacy, and external stakeholders (CMS, provider groups).
- Provide coaching and establish priorities for direct reports.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of healthcare actuarial experience with a focus on Medicare Advantage pricing and bid development.
- Proficiency in writing queries in SQL or similar programming language.
- Demonstrated project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Science, or related field.
- Fellow or Associate in the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA).
- Experience certifying the Medicare Advantage Bid.
- Familiarity with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid revenue methodologies.
- Previous experience managing professional staff in tasks and projects.
