What We’re Looking For:
- BSN or BS degree in healthcare-related field or Healthcare Administration required.
- Certification in healthcare-related field preferred.
- Master’s degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience with TJC or CMS accreditation process preferred; experience supporting accreditation compliance at Munson Healthcare considered. Knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements.
Ready to Make a Difference? Your Responsibilities Include:
- Leads and develops the Accreditation Compliance team and manages department operations.
- Leads regulatory compliance activities, serving as a role model for patient quality and safety.
- Provides resources and consultation to assure organizational compliance with hospital and certification standards.
- Coordinates application processes to accrediting bodies and the completion of the Periodic Performance Review.
- Leads robust tracer methodology/rounding process.
- Communicates new regulatory requirements and coordinates education for compliance.
- Manages responses to unannounced surveys and validates sustainability of implemented action plans.
- Advises executive team and leaders on regulatory compliance priorities.
- Participates in various committees, CQI teams, and work groups to promote Accreditation Compliance objectives.
