Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Manager, A/P Invoice Match to join our team! Reporting to the Director of Accounts Payable, this position is responsible for the management of one staff accountant and six non-exempt associates. Primary responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely processing of merchandise invoices, close coordination and partnership with Vendor Relations, managing special strategic programs and initiatives, and reporting. You will also need to manage an effective, accurate, and timely closing process in accordance with GAAP.

- Manage the processing, matching, and payment for all merchandise invoices
- Partner closely with Vendor Relations Manager to resolve vendor statement reconciliations
- Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to team
- Responsible for accounting and reporting of Foreign Merchandise in Transit
- Responsible for Quarterly Cost Purchase Reconciliation of A/P to Inventory
- Manage the Inventory Drop Ship reconciliation process and work to identify/resolve any issues
- Manage and oversee prepaid accounts payable activities related to merchandise processing
- Responsible for the processing and reconciliation of license agreement invoices/payments plus associated royalty payments
- Approval of monthly /quarterly journal entries
- Manage the EDI process with Merchandise Vendors
- Responsible for ensuring all departmental accounting deadlines are met, including balance sheet account reconciliations, account balance analytical reviews, and both internal and external audits
- Responsible for maintaining existing departmental controls as well as ensuring all necessary controls exist
- Implement new controls where opportunities are identified
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and all internal controls
- Support any internal controls compliance, testing, and reporting
- Manage and develop departmental staff accountant/analyst and non-exempt staff
- Analyze accounts payable data, generate reports, and provide insights to support financial decision-making
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of three years of proven experience in A/P management or a similar role
- In depth knowledge of A/P processes, best practices, and relevant accounting standards
- Experience with and/or knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Oracle Fusion preferred
- Experience managing associates
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Access)
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieve targeted objectives
- Experience working on cross functional teams, multi-tasking and managing time independently with little direction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate with associates at all levels, including senior executives
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organization
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines

Benefits:The annual base salary range is $80000 - $95000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below:
