Manager 2, Regional Operations Support - Sodexo

Sodexo is seeking a Manager 2, Regional Operations Support ( Chef Manager )  for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, located in Boston, MA.  In this role you will support Food Operations at the site.

This is a resource position and is temporary for up to 12 months depending on business needs. You may apply to permanent postings while in this role.  This role comes with benefits.

The successful candidate will:

• manage effectively through front line staff (approx 15 employees)
• be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
• ensure Sodexo and USDA culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality
• motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services, CTM, or Clinical Nutrition
