Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Management Analyst (Business Analysis, Junior Analyst) to support a federal government client in the Arlington, VA area. The role functions as an expert on management systems, techniques, processes, and technology that will optimize the Division's operations. The role engages in analysis of administrative processes and/or Division programs, making recommendations for programs, policies, and activities. Specific processes may vary depending upon the directorate and/or office assigned, with activities, workflows, and systems/tools governed by SOPs that typically evolve over time.
This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with 3 days on-site per week, but may vary based on client requirements. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. Remote work is not authorized for this position.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $65,000 - $90,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.

Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of recurring reports and write documentation with recommendations for management programs, policies, and activities.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research and perform analyses on a broad range of topics contributing to various bureau initiatives.
- Formulate recommendations for resolution strategies for identified deficiencies or potential problems and collaborate with Resource Manager to obtain the proper approvals for implementation.
- Engage in evaluating administrative processes and programs and developing related resource requests to enhance strategic and performance efforts.
- Support various aspects of contract administration, including preparing contract materials, monitoring compliance and performance, tracking deliverables and invoices, analyzing vouchers, invoices, claims, and other requests for payment for accuracy, adequacy of documentation and correct contractual references, and maintaining files consistent with applicable federal and agency regulations.
- Coordinate and monitor short-term and long-term projects and taskers that will involve stakeholders in other directorates/programs and/or DS personnel.

Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience with management analysis, strategy, resource management and/or contract management.
- Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills to interface with client personnel, other government agencies, and vendors at all levels.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Maintains professional competence and specialized knowledge base by keeping abreast of emerging themes and best practices.
- Knowledge of and skill in applying analytical and evaluate techniques to plan, schedule and conduct studies and analyses of management functions or programs.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of appropriations law, FAR, FTR, and the application of various laws, regulations, and policies related to the programs and associated support services.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Office 365.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent research and briefing skills.
- CGFM or other relevant professional certifications.
Education
