Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in managed care and employee benefits litigation matters, providing robust legal support and advice.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest legal trends and regulations affecting managed care and employee benefits.
- Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure the best legal service delivery.
- Advise clients on the legal implications of managed care and employee benefits decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide strategic legal advice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managed care and employee benefits litigation.
- Proven experience in healthcare litigation and ERISA litigation.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to managed care and employee benefits.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with clients.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
