Make Ready Service Detailer

Don Davis Nissan of Arlington is looking to acquire qualified and enthusiastic Detailers for the Service Department. The Detailer is responsible for ensuring the timely restoration of new and used vehicles as directed by the manufacturer and the dealership's management.

Role Responsibilities:

• Maintains vehicle inventory quality through cleaning the exterior and interior of vehicles. The Detailer examines vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Restores the engine areas' appearance and replenishes the vehicles' fuel.
• Ensures that showroom and stock vehicles are always presentable. The Detailer ensures that the proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's window.
• Removes window stickers and thoroughly restores sold vehicles.
• Operates all tools and equipment safely. The Detailer reports hazardous issues promptly to management.
• Maintains a neat and tidy workspace.

Employee Prerequisites:

• Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
• Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles; Capability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Flexible schedule
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to understand and comprehend simple, maintenance instructions.
