Pay: $22.28/hr ($2.50 shift differential between 5PM-5AM = $24.78/hr)
up to 6-8 overtime hours per week ($22.28 x 1.5 = $33.42/hr)
Shifts Available:
Sunday - every other Wednesday 5AM-5PM
Sunday - every other Wednesday 5PM-5AM
Every other Wednesday - Saturday 5PM-5AM
Position Overview
The Maintenance Worker position is responsible for ensuring the operation of our facilities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude towards maintenance tasks. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our staff and clients.
Responsibilities
Food Safety – Preventative Maintenance Program
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and general carpentry work.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any issues or potential hazards.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address any concerns in a timely manner.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and prolong the lifespan of assets.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and storage spaces.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete larger maintenance projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
Perform landscaping and outdoor maintenance tasks as needed.
Train alongside Maintenance Technicians and assist them with daily tasks.
Requirements
Food Safety – Aware of empowerment to act to resolve Food Safety Issues within the scope of work.
Food Safety – Conform to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Reliable form of transportation.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker or similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
Proficiency in basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance work.
