Job Summary:
The Engineering person is an essential part of the King David Team. He/she will be willing to function as a team member in the facility. He/she is responsible, generally, for the repair and upkeep of numerous items and systems within the facility.
Essential Qualifications:
· Must be able to work well independently as well as in conjunction with others both inside and outside of the department.
· State of Ohio Drivers License.
· Experience in general building maintenance, preferably in a Health Care setting.
· Physically able to lift objects in excess of 50 lbs.
· Able to read and follow instructions equivalent to a 10th grade education.
· Must be reliable and able to report to work as scheduled.
· Must be available to work overtime as required.

Maintenance Person - Days ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS |
Make routine rounds of facility as instructed and complete work orders. |
Conduct unit inspections as required and make necessary repairs. |
Makes routine water tests of boilers as instructed and makes routine adjustments. |
Subject to recall during off duty hours |
Responsible for routine care of assigned equipment and supplies. |
Removes snow and ice from walks and stairs and application of de-icing chemicals in the absence of and engineering helper. |
Keep Director of Engineering informed of supply and equipment needs. |
Make routine repairs of laundry equipment. |
Make routine repairs of dietary equipment. |
