Summary: Arconic is seeking a Maintenance Unit Supervisor for the Rolling Department. Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure no harm to people or the environment.
- Lead safety discussions and job-specific safety reviews.
- Support operating results through effective management of subordinates focusing on quantity, quality, timeliness, safety, recovery, and delivery performance.
- Develop individuals by providing challenging assignments, training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Fairly allocate and clearly assign work to crew members, prioritizing based on business criticality.
- Deploy appropriate crewing arrangements for planned and unplanned situations.
- Lead a diverse, customer-oriented, responsive, and flexible maintenance workforce.
- Apply root cause analysis and rapid problem-solving techniques to maintain or restore production.
- Gather data for root cause analysis and problem-solving for major exceptions.
- Manage assets cost-effectively, ensuring proper equipment operations and long-term viability.
- Advance business objectives regarding quality, costs, waste elimination, and lean manufacturing.
- Make decisions on performance, recognition, reward, and discipline with supporting documentation.
- Develop relationships and influence others to resolve problems and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts, switching from days to nights every 6-12 weeks depending on business conditions.
Skills/Qualifications:

Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Preferred:
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical background.
- Experience in a union environment.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (ABS) principles and concepts.
