Maintenance Technician at Manpower

Our client in Westwood, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have teamwork, communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization, as well as experience in Maintenance. Must have mechanical knowledge and experience, as well as an understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Westwood, MA

Pay Range: $26-$28 an hour depending on experience

Schedule: 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday from 3PM to 11PM  

What’s the Job?

• Responsible for the upkeep and repair of industrial machinery.
• Performing preventative maintenance inspections.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues.
• Disassembling and replacing faulty parts.
• Ensuring equipment operates efficiently by utilizing machine tools to fabricate replacement components when necessary.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge and background is required.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps.
• Welder experience is preferred.
• Must be able to bend, lift, push, walk, stand throughout a shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must demonstrate a professional, friendly demeanor; good verbal skills, math skills and attention to detail; read and understand work instructions, safety instructions, and complete maintenance and mechanical tasks; possess a sense of urgency;
