Maintenance Technician
Since 1975, Omega Flex has been supplying quality engineered flexible metal hose products that meet demanding industrial, commercial and residential applications. We currently have an immediate opening for a first shift (7AM-3:30PM) Maintenance Technician in Exton, PA.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repair and compliance with codes. Work involves testing electrical circuits equipment and fixtures using standard devices such as multimeters and oscilloscope. PM and troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment
- Receive direction from V.P Manufacturing. Work from drawings, sketches, machine operation and maintenance manuals and oral instructions. Perform diversified and somewhat difficult work including analytical troubleshooting and complex maintenance functions. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and considerable judgement to diagnose, dismantle & repair equipment.
- Must be familiar with Ladder Logic and programs such as RSStudio 5000, IDEC Automation Organizer, Red Lion Crimson, Omron CX-One. Can read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Familiar with maintaining equipment/inventories with CMMS software. Has an understanding of belts, belt drives, chain drives, and gearboxes.
- Install new equipment and modify as required to meet requirements. Provide assistance in solving operational problems that may involve adaptations beyond the normal range and capacity of equipment. Perform development and experimental work. Detect faulty operation, diagnose malfunctions and provide remedy.
- Possesses computer skills necessary to perform all required functions. Maintains established quality standards and keeps accurate records. Assists with new product development including research, design, prototypes and testing.
- Performs other job related/complimentary tasks as needed or assigned by the supervisor or department head.
- Follows all safety rules, regulations and company policies, and reports unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel. Performs other similar or related duties in accordance with workload priorities.

This is an on-site position, no remote or hybrid work schedule is available. Omega Flex requires successful completion of provided pre-employment testing including a physical, drug test, and employment background for the selected candidate.
