* Maintenance Technician at Maintenance, CNC, Welding

TOPS Staffing is currently looking to hire a few experienced maintenance technicians for a growing manufacturing client located in the Turtle Creek area of Pittsburgh.  

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance,  install, troubleshoot, and repair of production equipment in our clients facility. 

Ideal candidate will have both electrical and mechanical maintenance abilities however we will consider candidates with only strong industrial electric or mechanical maintenance experience as well.
 
Job Details:
Direct Hire Opportunity 
Night shift position 
Hours: 6pm to 6am (12hr shift schedule)
Work Schedule: 4 days ON; 4 days OFF, 3 days ON, 3 days OFF

Starting pay rate $25.00 – $33.00 an hour based on experience 
 
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understands basic principles of electricity
• Required experience working with 3-phase, 480v electricity
• Experience maintaining, repairing and trouble shooting hydraulic systems  
• Experience maintaining, repairing and trouble shooting pneumatic systems
• Ability to weld would be a plus but not a must have skill
• PLC experience is a preferred skill
• Electronic troubleshooting abilities is required
• Must be able to read and work from prints or schematics, both electrical and mechanical prints
• Disassembly & reassembly of production equipment.
• Preventative maintenance on production equipment

• Highschool degree or GED equivalent
• Associates degree in maintenance is preferred
• 2 years of maintenance experience in a production or industrial environment

• Prolonged periods standing
• Bend, crawl, kneel and sometimes climb on a regular basis.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs from time to time
