Our luxury waterfront multi-family apartment building in Saint Petersburg, Florida conveniently located minutes from award-winning beaches and downtown, is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Awesome Maintenance Team!
Maintenance Technician Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are properly functioning.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work that ensures the internal and external building, grounds, common areas, and amenities of the community meet the Properties standards for safety, appearance, cleanliness, and functionality.
- Assist with cleaning up the exterior and interior of building.
- Responsible for performing and completing work orders and routine maintenance in apartments as reported.
- Assist with pre-move-out inspection, creating a punch list to be completed, preparing and completing vacant apartments for move-in diagnosing.
- Maintain the building HVAC equipment in apartments.
- Apply preventative measures to the apartments and building.
- Assist with keeping the pool clean each morning.
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
- Paint apartments and common areas as paint has become faded or chipped.
- Maintain the building HVAC equipment in apartments.

Troubleshoot, and repair:
- Air conditioning (HVAC) units
- Electrical repairs
- Appliance repairs
- Lighting fixtures.
- Ventilation repairs
- Outlet repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Carpentry
- Locks
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- 2 plus years of experience with multifamily property maintenance, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
- HVAC Certification.
- Knowledge of all areas of maintenance.
- Ability to follow directions and work well with others is required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Must be able to speak, write, and read English.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
