About the Job
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures.
(including but not limited to Quality Systems Regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes).
Machine and Equipment Repair
Core Responsibility
· Troubleshoot and repair any faulty equipment.
· Work with vendors to purchase spare or replacement parts.
Preventative Maintenance
Core Responsibility
· Complete preventative maintenance activities according to PM schedule.
· Create and record maintenance schedules for new equipment.
· Ensure all machines are functioning and safe for use.
Facilities Maintenance
Core Responsibility
· Fix, monitor, and repair any facility equipment such as HVAC system, compressed
air system, sprinkler system, etc.
· Complete basic activities related to plumbing, electrical, water/drainage.
· Work with contractors to complete specialized activities.
· Support installation of new equipment.
· Complete assigned duties related to landscaping and snow removal.
Safety and Cleanliness Core Responsibility
· Adhere to all safety regulations.
· Identify and report any safety concerns.
· Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning workstation and plant areas as assigned.
Complete other tasks or duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to troubleshoot for machine issues.
· Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
· Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
· Ability to troubleshoot basic plumbing issues.
· Self-motivation to diagnose and solve issues.
· Basic mathematical operations, including the use of fractions and decimals.
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. · Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers.
· Ability to adapt to changes in technology.
· Experience and strong knowledge of working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an ERP.
· Ability to use and understand computers and their software programs such as a Preventative Maintenance system.
· Knowledge of wire harness and connector manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
Minimum
· High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
· Two (2) years of related experience in facilities or machine maintenance.
Preferred:
· Associate degree in Facilities Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance
· Experience working with Komax wire processing equipment
