Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural and processing equipment.
- Utilize welding skills to repair and fabricate metal components.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, particularly in welding and working with metals.
- Electrical experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
