POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure our vacation homes are safe, well-maintained, and ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role involves routine maintenance, repairs, and special projects to support Staylah’s expanding Tennessee portfolio. We’re looking for a skilled, proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pool Cleaning & Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain pools to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper chemical balance.
- Lawn Care: Perform and oversee mowing, edging, fertilizing, and landscaping.
- Handyman & General Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
- Project Management: Plan and execute projects such as renovations and seasonal maintenance tasks, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Vendor Management - Identify vendors to solve issues in a timely manner. Ensure work is done to completion with high quality.
- Property Inspections: Proactively inspect properties to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Guest & Owner Service: Respond to maintenance requests promptly, communicating clearly and professionally.
- Inventory & Supplies Management: Maintain an organized inventory of supplies and tools for efficient property management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in property maintenance, ideally in vacation rentals or hospitality.
- Proficient in pool cleaning and maintenance, lawn care, handyman tasks, and project management.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Live within 30 minutes of our core territory in Sevierville and Pigeon Forge
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $45000 - $65000
