Maintenance Technician - Housing Hub

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician at Housing Hub in Saint Paul, MN. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of our properties to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management
• Conduct inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Repair or replace appliances, fixtures, and equipment as needed
• Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and inventory of supplies
• Perform general maintenance for all residential rental properties, hallways, buildings, and common areas
• After hours emergency on-call maintenance rotation required
• Utilize equipment properly and safely
• General knowledge of fair housing rules and regulations, training provided
• Report to supervisor of any pertinent resident or property issues or concerns

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in maintenance or related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation required
• Must be able to follow directions and learn quickly
• Must professionally represent Housing Hub at all times
• Must be proficient and comfortable with computer, tablet, smartphone tech
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
