Responsibilities:
The Permanent Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal performance at all times.
2. Diagnosing and repairing faults in PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other industrial equipment.
3. Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
4. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required.
6. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
7. Documenting all maintenance and repair work performed, and maintaining a comprehensive record of all spare parts and resources used.
8. Continually updating knowledge and skills, staying abreast of the latest industry developments and advancements in technology.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Maintenance Technician, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
2. Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
3. Proficiency in performing preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment.
4. Demonstrated ability to interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. A strong commitment to adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
8. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
9. A relevant trade certificate or diploma is highly desirable.
10. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and machinery as needed.
