Responsibilities:
As our Permanent Maintenance Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
2. Performing preventive maintenance tasks to avert unscheduled equipment downtime.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing faults in PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other machinery components.
4. Collaborating with other team members to optimize maintenance procedures and enhance machine efficiency.
5. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance work for future reference.
6. Ensuring that all machinery and equipment comply with safety standards and regulations.
7. Assisting in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
8. Providing technical guidance to other team members and staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of two years of experience in machine maintenance, specifically with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
2. A technical degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
3. A solid understanding of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
4. Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
6. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey technical information.
7. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
8. A proactive approach to machine maintenance, with the ability to anticipate and prevent potential issues.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy machinery parts.
