The Maintenance Technician performs in-process repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled, preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment during machine service. The primary function of this second shift position is to keep equipment running efficiently to meet production goals. You'll work with a supportive team and draw on your ability to understand, maintain, troubleshoot and/repair:
Motors and controls.
Pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical wiring.
Boilers (MN Specialized Boiler License required)
Piping systems sanitary for product flow, steam piping, and pneumatic.
Process equipment pumps, motors, filling, capping, labelers, packing, and sealing equipment.
VFD's, PLC's, 3 phase wiring, high voltage, 120-480 VAC
HVAC
Clean manufacturing safety training, such as: OSHA 10, ISO 14001, cGMP, Sanitary environment, HazMat
MS products, Excel, Outlook and SAP, CAMS systems

What You'll Need to Succeed:
High School Diploma or equivalency required, Two-year technical degree in a related field is a plus.
Boiler License (MN Specialized License ideal)
Prior work experience in food manufacturing environment.
Adherence to "Safety First, Safety Always " guidelines and ability to follow related policies and regulations.
Forklift and manlift experience and ability to pass in-house training.
Ability to operate all test meters and tools required for the position.
Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
Ability and willingness to work cooperatively in a multi-cultured environment.
