Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our night shift operations to ensure the optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and high efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment including compressors, chillers, and boilers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues within the production facility.
- Conduct inspections and tests on machines to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components.
- Work with conveyor belts, sprockets, and gear boxes to ensure optimal operation.
- Respond to equipment failures and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Document maintenance and repair activities accurately in maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment readiness and safety compliance.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.
- Familiarity with compressors, chillers, boilers, and other industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Available to work night shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Relevant certifications in maintenance or engineering fields preferred.
