We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art facilities. Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
3. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and replacing parts to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and schedules.
5. Assist in the commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper installation, calibration, and functionality.
6. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history.
7. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, addressing issues efficiently to minimize production disruptions.
8. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and regulations.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance techniques, incorporating new knowledge into daily work practices.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and engineering, to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the engineering industry or equivalent.
2. Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
3. Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
4. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as specialized maintenance equipment.
5. Experience with commissioning new equipment, ensuring proper installation, and conducting functional tests.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues from various departments.
9. Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
10. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
