Maintenance Technician

Within the Food Manufacturing Industry

Shifts Available:

• 8hr: 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
• 12hr: 6pm-6am

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely mechanical support for machines and equipment.
• Communicate reliability concerns to supervisors.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and equipment rebuilds.
• Assist with machine change-overs and pre-starts.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Participate in team efforts for a safe workplace and quality product.

Skills/Abilities:

• Experience with processing equipment and/or aseptic filling technology.
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of steam and condensate equipment maintenance.
• Sanitary TIG welding experience preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial safety procedures.
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
