Maintenance Technician - Multicraft 1st and 2nd Shift - Warren Oil Company, Inc.

About the Job
Warren Oil Company is now accepting Maintenance Technician applications for immediate hire. In this job, you will perform repairs on all plant equipment as well as provide ongoing maintenance of the facility. Install, maintain, and repair equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures. You will also ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect/diagnose potential problems.
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
- Responsible for the repair, adjustments and ongoing maintenance of facilities.
- Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
- Communicate with coworkers to coordinate installations or repairs.
- Improves Equipment and Process Reliability.
- Develop new or improved existing preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Problem- solving ability
- Ability to work with others
- Mechanical and electrical skills
- Willingness to support all line operations to maximize equipment availability and efficiency
- Follow all internal and OSHA guidelines
Preferred qualifications:
- Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Design Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services
- Ability to perform periodic tests or checks on all electrical equipment to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Ability to dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists. Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
