Maintenance Technician

Sundance Property Management is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician in Monroe, GA. In this role, you will service our Magnolia Park property!

Pay: $20/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform general repair of household appliances
• Perform carpentry, electrical and sewer repairs as needed
• Perform painting and/or drywall maintenance/repair as needed
• Communicate and follow up with the Property Manager about maintenance concerns and the status of work orders
• Assist Project Manager in contracting vendors and taking bids for special project
• Paint, clean, and repair all vacant units within a timely and impeccable manner
• Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
• Ensure that maintenance parts, supplies, and equipment are always stocked and available
• Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
• Effectively utilize a smart phone to handle texting, emailing, and calendar management.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate
• Minimum of 1 years' of general maintenance experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• HVAC Certification preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Ability to work Monday – Friday 8AM – 5 PM
• Willing and Able to participate in 24HR Emergency On Call Rotation
• Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in professional and effective communication with prospects, co-workers, residents, vendors, and supervisors. This includes verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to move items weighing up to 80 pounds
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions
