About the Job
We are excited to be adding a Maintenance Technician to the MAC Trailer Team. Our Maintenance Technicians objective is to perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.
Please note hours are - Sun - Wed 8pm - 6:30am
Wage Range: $20.75 - $26.50

What you will do:•Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
•Analyze repairs requests and troubleshoot them.
•Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed.
•Handle emergency maintenances and repair works.
•Stock adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses.
•Maintain work area clean, safe and organized.
•Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents.
•Maintain the maintenance tools and equipment in safe, clean and good working conditions.
•Provide assistance to co-workers when needed.
•Attend job training and safety programs organized by maintenance department.
•Adhere to company policies, safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
•Perform maintenance tasks based on pictures, blueprints, written descriptions and oral instructions from Supervisors.
•Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
•Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
•Perform general electrical maintenance.
•Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
•Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
•Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
•Experience in assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

•Solid understanding of a variety of repair techniques and tool operation
•Ability to work in a physically demanding job that includes heavy lifting and standing
•Ability to install and troubleshoot 110V and 480V applications
•Strong mechanical abilities including hydraulics and pneumatics
•Welding experience a plus
•Able to work from scissor lift/not afraid of heights
•Work overtime or weekends as needed.
Education and/or Experience
•One or more years of experience in maintenance work
•High school diploma or its equivalent
Physical Demands
•Ability to work outside in all seasons of weather
•Ability to see details at close range while reviewing inventory information
•Ability to grasp and manipulate large and small items
•Ability to push, pull, and lift various materials including aluminum, steel, and parts
•Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
