Maintenance Technician (Maintenance Tech) - RMS Construction LLC

Maintenance Technician - Hartford POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for identifying and performing all regular maintenance activities at the rental buildings in their geography

This includes responding to residents requests and managing their schedule of work as set forth by the Maintenance Superintendent

This position impacts our residents by ensuring their apartments are in excellent condition and that all building operations and amenities are performing at the high standards of the RMS brand

This position reports to the Maintenance Superintendent

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute maintenance requests assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent Perform building walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs Provide friendly, responsive service to the residents Prioritize maintenance requests so building-critical issues and customer requests are dealt with quickly Perform checklist walkthroughs and verify services rendered by subcontractors Accurately record and report their own time Respond to maintenance requests at the direction of the Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager when the Maintenance Superintendent is not available Accurately communicate work requested and work executed to the Maintenance Superintendent POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance (experience or familiarity with all trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair)

Current driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to read, write and speak English This is full-time position (no overtime) and candidates will be required to work Monday - Saturday and rotate being on call for any emergencies Must be On-Call Tuesdays through Saturdays This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a successful, expanding real estate firm+- with openings throughout Connecticut Equal Opportunity Employer
