This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with programmable logic controls (PLC) and variable frequency drives (VFD).
- Handling electrical troubleshooting tasks, identifying issues, and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintaining maintenance logs and records, ensuring all work is documented and tracked.
- Collaborating with the manufacturing team to understand equipment needs and identify potential problems before they occur.
- Adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Continually updating knowledge and skills to keep up with rapid advancements in manufacturing technology.
- Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to further technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician position will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Proven experience in PLC troubleshooting and working with variable frequency drives (VFD).
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
