Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the electrical, plumbing, and overall physical condition of our residential buildings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to providing a safe, functional, and comfortable living environment for our tenants.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections of property infrastructure to identify and resolve issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from tenants and management.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, appliance repairs, and minor building repairs.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and safety of common areas, exteriors, and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.
• Coordinate with external contractors for larger projects when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a residential or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Basic carpentry, painting, and appliance repair skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and best practices.
• OSHA Certification (10-hour or 30-hour) or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between properties.
• Technical certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC are strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, work in tight spaces, and operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training is a plus.
