Job Title: Second Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Shift: Second Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Second Shift Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations during the evening shift in our manufacturing facility. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement while minimizing downtime and ensuring safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the second-shift maintenance team, providing coaching and feedback to maintain high performance and safety standards.
• Equipment Maintenance & Repairs: Oversee preventative maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment (e.g., capsule fillers, tablet presses, packaging machines) and facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to FDA, cGMP, and OSHA standards, maintaining a safe work environment and accurate maintenance records.
• Collaboration: Work with production, quality assurance, and operations teams to address equipment issues and improve performance. Facilitate smooth shift transitions.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive efforts to minimize downtime and optimize resources, focusing on cost-effective maintenance solutions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 5-10 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably in food, dietary supplements, or pharmaceuticals.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems, and PLCs.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working in varied environments with different temperatures and noise levels.
